Spain - Toledo City
As a former capital city of Spain, Toledo is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its medieval atmosphere and charm. Christians, Arabs and Jews lived together here for centuries behind its walls. We wandered the labyrinth of the winding pedestrian streets to see magnificent old stone buildings, quiet cobblestone streets, and the artisan shops tucked away in little alleys.
Toledo is known for its antique-inspired swords. The manufacture of swords, knives and daggers goes back to Roman times and its products came to be regarded as the best in Europe.
