Corfu, Greece
Again due to operational reasons (?) instead of Crotone, Italy our ship docked at Corfu, an island of Greece in the Ionian Sea.
We liked the Old Town with the charming characteristic Venetian style. The historic Paleokastritsa monastery is on the top of a remote hill, offering sweeping gorgeous views of the island and the sea. The monastery has a small museum with rare Byzantine icons, holy books and other relics.
