Oslo, Norway
We enjoyed the Vigeland Sculpture Park, a strikingly designed park with more than 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland in bronze, granite and cast iron, each one representing a different stage of life to depict the complete human lifecycle.
Loved to see The Viking Ship Museum on the Bygdøy peninsula showcasing the best preserved Viking ship in the world.
Oslo's Opera House is a landmark building located right at the harbor, with an angled, white exterior that appears to rise from the water. We DID walk up to the marble roof and enjoy the panoramic views of Oslo and the fjord.
We visited the Oslo City Hall is where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony takes place every December. Here the annual laureate gives his or her lecture and is awarded the medal and diploma.
